What We Cover
From a fresh color change to a full surface restoration — here's what our cabinet painting and refinishing services include.
Cabinet Painting
A fresh topcoat applied over properly prepped surfaces — ideal when your cabinets are structurally sound and you want a new color, updated look, or refreshed finish. The most cost-effective cabinet transformation available.
Cabinet Refinishing
The existing finish is stripped or sanded back before a new topcoat is applied — necessary when the current coating is peeling, failing, or damaged. More involved than painting, but the right call when the surface needs a fresh start.

Painting or refinishing kitchen cabinets to a smooth, durable finish that holds up to heat, moisture, and daily wear — without the cost of replacement.
Bathroom Vanity Cabinets
Outdated or worn bathroom cabinetry refreshed with a clean, moisture-resistant finish. Small change, big visual impact.
Door & Drawer Fronts
Doors and drawer fronts removed, worked separately on both sides for a factory-quality result, then reinstalled with care and precision.
Surface Prep Before Every Job
Degreasing, sanding, filling dings, priming, or stripping — the prep work that separates a result that lasts from one that fails within months.

Cabinet Painting & Refinishing FAQs
Common Questions
Have a question that isn't here? Give us a call. We're happy to walk you through anything before we get started.
What's the difference between cabinet painting and cabinet refinishing?
Cabinet painting applies a fresh topcoat over properly prepped surfaces — ideal when cabinets are structurally sound and you want a new color or refreshed look. Cabinet refinishing involves stripping or sanding the existing finish back before applying a new one — the right call when the current coating is peeling, failing, or damaged. We offer both and will recommend the right approach during your free in-home estimate.
How do I know which service I need?
We'll assess your cabinets honestly during the estimate. Key indicators for refinishing: peeling or chipping finish, water damage, visible bare wood, or a previous coating that no longer adheres. If your cabinets are structurally sound and the surface is intact, painting is often the right call. Either way, we'll tell you exactly what we'd recommend — and why.
How long does the job take?
Cabinet painting typically takes 7–10 days from prep to reinstall. Cabinet refinishing takes a bit longer — usually 10–14 days because the existing finish needs to be stripped or sanded back before the new topcoat goes on. We'll give you a specific timeline during the estimate based on your cabinet count and condition.
Do I need to empty my cabinets before you start?
Not unless we are refinishing the inside of your cabinets - As long as we can access the hardware for the doors/drawer fronts, we'll be in good shape. We'll handle removing and reinstalling the doors and hardware as part of the job.
What kind of finish will my cabinets have?
We use premium cabinet-specific paints and refinishing products that cure to a hard, smooth finish — similar in look and feel to factory-painted cabinets. We'll recommend the right product and sheen level for your specific space during the estimate.
Can you do a full color change on my cabinets?
Yes — full color changes are one of our most common requests. Going from natural wood or honey oak to white, off-white, navy, or any other color is well within scope for both painting and refinishing. We'll work with you on color selection during the estimate.
Which areas of Alabama do you serve?
We serve homeowners and businesses across Hoover, Birmingham, Pelham, Homewood, Vestavia Hills, Alabaster, Huntsville, Pell City, Gardendale, Irondale, Tuscaloosa, Mountain Brook, and surrounding areas.
